CelleCast incorporates “Radio Heard Here” from NAB 2020 Initiatives

The “Radio Heard Here” campaign, the one that the industry bloggers love to hate, makes perfect sense. Not only for its intended purpose, but for mobile radio on demand as well. After all, the point we’re driving home is that any phone can access radio programming on demand now. It has nothing to do with whether there is a radio tuner in the phone. So in fact, “Radio Heard Here” lends itself to cell phone radio.
To demonstrate our belief in the campaign, and its relevance to cell phone radio, we’ve branded our home page with the “Radio Heard Here” icon. The more people begin to discover that radio is indeed branching out into new platforms, through deliberate new media alliances such as with CelleCast, the more the campaign will begin to find its footing and realize its goals.
It’s just another way that we are not only in support of, but helping the radio industry to achieve, its 2020 Initiatives.
