Cell phone radio at your control with one key
September 30th, 2008
When listening to a cellecast, it flows very simply and easily by just dialing the number for your intended program and letting the latest episode play. Eventually though, the need arises to perform more involved functions: create and manage your playlist, browse previous episodes of programs, send talkbacks or CelleGrams … the list goes on.
Admittedly, a feature-rich service such as CelleCast does involve detailed navigation that is at times not immediately obvious. Using your phone as the remote control to access a deep well of talk radio content on demand, just like any service that offers many features, can take some getting used to. But we’ve designed it in a way that not only makes the discovery as easy as possible, but once you learn it, you’ll be able to get a lot more functionality out of your cellecasting.
The single most important thing you need to know (besides the direct dial number to your favorite program) is that the 5 key does just about everything. With it you can pause and resume, as well as access the selection mode menu. Ah yes, the magic menu that gives you almost every conceivable option. Playlist seek (3), history seek (4), and episode seek (6) are just a few of the jewels you’ll find on this menu. And incidentally the ones for which we receive the highest volume of customer calls. The good news is, your navigation secrets are only one key away. To hear a quick tutorial on this, you can access an audio help guide on this subject. Or for visual help, go here.
We cater to all learning styles. ![]()
