Gearing up for a new season

One good thing about tough times is that they do indeed drive us to change the way we do things.

We did indeed have plenty of tough times here at CelleCast, trying to give a service away for free and monetize it later. We even set up arrangements with partners that wanted hard money, but the audiences on CelleCast did not materialize with the numbers needed to bring in the advertisers to generate the revenue.

This year, I am looking at re-organizing the whole arrangement by charging for our unique services for streaming and interactive community building, allowing our partners instead to keep all the proceeds from their advertising and promotions work.

This is working for a couple of our clients through the time we have been in hibernation, and new circumstances are allowing us the opportunity to retool our product and work with the radio industry again.

Who knows, maybe now is a better time.
